SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston Medical Center/NRG Park

Was a guest with my sister who was there for follow-up at MD Anderson. Forgot my kindle in our suite. I was not hopeful but I called that night when we returned home was given guest services number. I was asked to call back the next day when housekeeping would be there. The next day I called guest services and spoke to Ivan. He was most helpful and told me he would check and return my call within 2 hours. He called back in 2 minutes and told me they had my kindle and would mail back to me. I received my kindle today per UPS. We have stayed at this same hotel for all of her visits to Houston for almost 20 years. We have always been very pleased and certainly appreciated the return of my lost item. Thank you to the kind and honest staff!

The property was nice. I didn't see where there was a market to get anything you might want or need. The front desk agent at night and in the morning were very accommodating and nice. But when I got my bill, I was charged extra from what the total actually was. Such as parking (even though it was validated) and about 7 different taxes that is unheard of. But yes I would recommend this property, and I probably would stay again. Rooms: I had the suite, it was a nice room although I was put in a room right next to the elevator. Loved the option of the ceiling fan remote in the living room. Very spacious all together.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing. The only issue I had was the breakfast - it was nasty. The sausage patties were very dry and tasteless. The scrambled eggs had a lot of liquid with them in the serving dish, and there weren't that many breakfast options to choose from.
