Bishops Cuts/Color

Walked in to get my mother a cut and the guy checking her in was fine. I gave him the details as it was the first time and he was nice to offer me some water for waiting and the receptionist next to him looked at him and quietly told him not to offer me anything as I guess it was my mom doing her hair and not me. I immediately said no and he looked at her like ok good, she said no. Seriously?! This was my first time and that first impression truly rubbed me wrong. My mom is actually visiting so if the experience was good, I would have been the one coming back, not my mom. Don’t like getting treated that way. How much will it really cost you if I wanted the bottle water? Some cents?! My moms haircut was decent but based on my experience today, will go elsewhere.

I took my older sister and she hasn't had a haircut in 3 years and it was perfectly fine with no issues what so ever, then after this quarantine and they just reopen I found out they were open today so I called ahead to schedule my appointment over the phone and they tell me I can come in. I come in with my child, and told me I can't come in with my son since their is a rule about no groups. It took me 35 minutes to get here I wasted my time I wasted my gas and I've been waiting For 5 months for a haircut. I been waiting just for Them and them only to cut my hair cause I know they did a good job with my sister. Dating give me no rules no information over the phone about the new standards. Next time tell people not everyone knows the new rules. I'm not coming back. I'll go somewhere else.

I’ve been going to Bishops singed they opened in Midtown and now I’m going to the new one in the Heights. Top level customer service at each location and extremely clean. Stylist and Barbers there do a fantastic job, especially Taryn who has been cutting my hair for 2 years now. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

The shop itself is great, good people and energy! The person who cut my hair was a fun person and I liked her a lot, but bottom line my haircut is not what I was hoping for (at all). I showed pictures of a previous haircut i had multiple times and am walking away looking absolutely nothing like the pictures i showed. I jumped in multiple times to point out what i felt was inconsistent with the style I wanted but it just didnt seem like the stylist new how to do it or we were not looking at the same reference pictures. just a heads up to make sure you are extremely explicit in what you want and make it simple. going to try and get it fixed somewhere else asap... bummer for sure. drove 45 minutes both ways for this appt. **Edited to say that the stylist was great and did try to fix things! just didnt quite work out
