Dance Houston

My fiance and I took 3 private lessons with Andrea in preparation for our wedding. We were quite the challenging duo: I'm a former competitive dancer who can't follow and who has to stay exactly.on.beat.; and my fiance struggles to find the rhythm and lead confidently. Somehow, Andrea worked her magic and we are feeling very confident going into our big day. We started by working on simple steps and progressed to learning fun spins and dips by the end of our third lesson. She was able to help us find the perfect balance of choreographed and go-with-the-flow. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to brush up on their dance skills before their big day!

Dance Houston is a wonderful organization that encompasses ALL dance styles and dancers. Hands down a 5/5 organization. They have state of the art instructors and really take care of each individual student. You will not just be another number. Be sure to follow them on insta @dancehouston and on FB @dance.houston !!

I worked with them for my henna party. I was so frustrated with Dance Houston when I tried to change the hours of service. They charged me 375$ for change the schedule. I requested them only start the event for one hour later. Moreover, they did not reply to me many emails. Even I requested some changes for their dance, Andrea sent all these adjustments to my even planner even instead of me. Because she did not want to contact with any more, when I started to express my frustrations. This company also is not clear their service. Even I believed I agreed for 3 songs, they charged me $1500 for only 1,5 mins dance... It was extremely expensive. I have had very hard times before my henna party. I felt extremely emotionally distress.

This organization has brought together so many dancers and audiences through their annual Dance Houston Festival, Hip Hop Festival, Memorial City Mall Sunday Funday, Summer Camp and so much more! Houston is so lucky to have such a passionate dance organization that organizes numerous family events throughout the year and brings dancers and dance companies together for fabulous performances! I truly recommend their summer camp. After a short two-week camp session, the campers are able to put on an entire show with each of them performing 8 to 10 dances of various dance styles (ballet, modern, Chinese dance, Salsa, African, jazz, hip hop, Bollywood, etc.). I was amazed at what these kids accomplished at the Dance Houston Camp! And the kids loved every single minute of it. =)
