From the second I walked in this place I should have turned around and walked out. The first lady I met was super sweet I will give her that, but she was the daughter of the director. I enrolled my kids in the "hip hop" class. There was no order. You could tell they didn't care about this class. The first day the class was full, the next week there were maybe 6 kids and 2 were mine. They also had ZERO structure. One of the children constantly disrupt and took away the whole class time.. The lady teaching the class wasn't even supposed to be teaching them but she had to because the director was never there.. the floors were awful and looked as if at any moment someone would fall through them. The third week the lady sprained her foot so she couldn't even teach the class. The First few weeks I brought my daughters I would try to pay and the director would NEVER be there. They would just tell me "oh it's OK, pay next week". Finally I catch the lady. They take my monthly payment (no big deal I knew what it would cost) and THEN proceeded to tell me I had to pay another $600 asap because the yearly recital was coming. Granted I had only been there for 3 weeks with my kid not learning anything. But I agreed to pay it.. what you ge tout of this is your childrens costumes (one of my kids had 2 the other one) tights a tshirt a video and a couple of other things. Ok.. cool. So I pay it the week BEFORE they shut down because of Covid. Not their fault. Completely understand why they had to shut down. I did ask a couple weeks later if they could resend me the money I paid (minus the monthly fee). They ignored me but definitely made it known they would still be charging parents their month fees even with them being closed. I declined that saying there was no dancing going on. I again asked for a refund of just the extra $600 because we would not be having a recital. I was ignored. Then I get an email about how they will be starting virtual dance lessons.... at a 11am. We could not do that because I had to work. I informed them of that and again. I was ignored! Here we are in October and I have no recieved one penny NOR anything I was initially paying for. Awful awful academy. They pocket your money. They also ask the parents to leave 5 stars... not because they want to. I have the proof incase they would like to come on here with a whole different story..
