Hertz Car Rental - Houston - Champion Forest HLE

Reserved a car online, showed up to pick up and was told they have no cars and can do nothing for me. Now its almost the end of the day and no where else to rent from. No empathy, the woman working just told me I was out of luck. Terrible customer service, no phone call no contact to let me know.

I needed a rental while my car was getting repaired. After enterprise gave me the run around, my adjuster switched me to this Hertz location. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Most important, is the fact that the local agents answer the phone when you call! Nate and David were prompt to help me get a vehicle, and helped me switch vehicles when the right one became available (car shortage). Nate also helped me make sure I was asking the right questions with the insurance company that was covering the cost of the rental. Overall wonderful experience. I will be renting from here going forward.

Extremely unsatisfied! Arrived to location with an online reservation for an economical car and was told none were available, so I had to pay for an upgrade. Thought they would substitute the upgrade for the inconvenience but I guess the business is not customer friendly. I paid for the upgrade and when I attempted to return the vehicle to another location near by the airport they could not receive it because they could not find the reservation? So I was told I could returns it to the airport and did with a full tank of gas. I then get the invoice with a charge of a full gas of tank. So I looked into the matter and found you could pay for the gas up front so you don't worry about it when drop-off, but representative never mentioned the gas options to me. I have reached out to customer service several times but no response. This is about a week now! What kind of scam is this?
