My instructions given to Paul as well as the technician when he arrived were only to extract the water in a 350 sq ft apartment from a toilet that overflowed. Also to leave a few fans to dry the carpet. When I received the invoice, I was charged for multiple services I did not request and the cost of the extraction was over $2000.00. I will not use this company again. Services: Sewage cleanup, Water damage cleanup

Through foolish error on my part I ended up with water luring through the walls of a corridor leading to a basement. My sump pump kept kicking on so there want a huge amount of standing water, but it seems like there was a waterfall inside the house. I called restoration 1 and VJ was dispatched to help us. He arrived before the estimated time and quickly started removing the water, cleaning the floors and putting dryers in place throughout the basement. He was there for most of the day remediation got the damage and came back a couple of time the next day to validate everything was okay. He has just picked up the equipment.
VJ was very easy to work with. This was the first time I had ever had water damage so it unnerved me, but VJ was very calm and talked me through the process to get this resolved. His demeanor really helped alleviate my stress.
I would recommend restoration 1 and specifically VJ for anyone with flooding or water damage. Service: Water damage cleanup
