Review of this product picked up at QFC # 871 (Renton, WA) on 10-16-21. As someone with cultural association to sushi, I have to say how disappointed I am with their prodcuts. I picked up a package from this brand at this location. Based on the pricing and low quality today, I will not be purchasing from this brand due to inconsistency in how their sushi is prepared (on site I would assume?) and the low quality I received today of their California Roll. I consider low quality sushi and lack of consistency in the hardness of the rice (sushi rice should be relatively soft, not firm), the odd proportion of crab salad to avocado to cucumber--there was barely any cucumber and minimal avocado. Also, many Americans believe large size portions of sushi to be favorable however sushi in general should have a smaller portion size than maybe what most Americans want but I am not a fan of a sushi size that requires two large bites. Hope this company considers training their staff in preparing sushi to be more consistent with their products and learning how to prepare rice that is not hard. It should also be noted that the sushi I purchased was prepared that day so clearly something was wrong with how the rice was prepared or cooked. Very disappointed.
