William Beaumont Army Medical Center : Emergency Room

Checked in at 4:30, sat in lobby area until 7:30then called in to be seated in my own ER room from 7:30 to 8:00. Afterwards, X-rays, then sat in my own ER room again waiting until 10:30. They said they were getting my X-rays and discharge paperwork ready... Total time for a left shoulder injury6hrs!! I stayed here almost a whole work shift! This is OUTRAGEOUS! Someone fix this PLEASE! To top it off I hear the people working here goofing off! And having a blast laughing it upthat is not appreciated from my perspective. I have to be up at 3am and working at 4I dont see myself ever coming back here if I can help it.

Huge hospital! Tiny staff. Two ER doctors working nights. Waits are comparable to El Paso hospitals which is sad as our population is much healthier and the volume is lower. Makes sense as Tricare West is a disaster. Tricare East is superior.

Jesus where do I begin. You sit here for hours and people who came after you go back before you. I could understand one busy day but it's like this every time I'm unfortunate enough to come here. I try Mendoza first cause at least they are half ways decent and they see way more patients. I loathe coming here.

If Negative Star was an option I would rate them -5 stars. Who makes emergency patients wait for more than 3 hours? I mean why is it even called ER? There is absolutely no sense of urgency, theyll watch you die in pain.
