I don't think I've eaten a bad thing here, everything is great. Service is fine too. They recently completed an expansion into the space next door and it looks great.
However, last few times I've been we were greeted with a very strong unpleasant smell. You DO get used to it after a few mins but they really need to look into it. Also a friend ordered the ramen which is usually great but the chashu was weirdly chewy, as if it wasn't cooked correctly. I love this place they just need to get rid of that weird smell!

Found this gem couple years ago after leaving Hawaii and looking for my udon fix... this place takes care of that fix for me. The fried squid and sushi is delicious as well!!!

I really like the variety they have at the restaurant. I tried out a sushi roll (Cajun), onigiri and yakitori. I didn't expect the yakitori to be so much! You get so much food for the price. Two large skewers for under $4. The onigiri was good too. Still not my favorite mentaiko onigiri, but good nonetheless.
The Cajun roll was great too. Tasty flavors, crunch and it had a nice kick to it. Definitely recommend and I'm going to come back for sure.
