Starbucks

I traveled to Dallas for one day to visit the Dallas Museum of Art; I ate only in this Starbucks, I was stomach sick all the next day.

The service here is terrible. At 5 min before opening the staff is chatting away while customers are waiting. I asked when they open and without skipping a beat in their conversation one barista said 7:00 and went back to chatting. No coffee brewing or anything. No register opening... that all STARTS at 7:00 apparently. I was hoping they'd at least ask if they could start getting my food in a bag or begin to open the registers so the two other customers waiting and I could expedite the ordering process. Not unreasonable given that it was only 5 minutes before opening. No such luck. Only when more customers showed up to add pressure did they roll their eyes and reluctantly start opening the station. Terrible example of customer service for a location in the center of a large professional building downtown with regular customers and a high volume of travellers stopping by. This location can do MUCH better and should start today. Go when it's peak time and you get can in and out, but the handulf of times I've been here when it's not that busy, this team is more interested in chatting it up than serving customers. I would recommend the Starbucks over at the Trammel Crow Center. They are fast and the food selection is much better. Plus, it's ridiculously close to the Chase Tower location so it's worth the extra distance.
