Such a cute place and a fun activity to do with a girlfriend or group of friends! The candle pouring class was an hour long and very easy. It's so much fun to pick your vessel and fragrance, can't wait to burn my candle!

I went with two friends last night and we had a great time! The staff is very informative and helpful, and the energy in the room was so fun! I recommend this for big or small groups of friends...

My girlfriend was throwing her birthday event here. Little did I know it was in the heart of Deep Ellum so parking was terrible on a Sunday afternoon when everyone is out for Sunday Funday (So plan to arrive 30 min early). I arrived about 20 minutes late and saw my group sitting and just getting started because they barely finished their waivers. The lady at the front desk was so rude and unapologetic. She told me she is going to have to give me a refund because they are "already half way through the candle making". No refund, just a gift card. I sat down with my group and they said they haven't even started on their candles yet!! I went back and told her I don't mind picking up where they were and she rudely said no she can't let me do that because it was part of their "policy". I don't see this "policy" written anywhere at the store front nor the website! I told her I was from out of town and won't be able to come back and use the gift card. She gave me a smug little smirk and pointed at the candles they had for sale! That's it, no sorry, no nothing! I sat down very disappointed with the rest of my table and even the candle making instructor asked me if I wanted to start and she would be glad to catch me up. The rude lady in the front yelled across the room and told her "NO she can't do that." with which she replied, "oh.. okay?" After 2 of my girlfriends went up to complain I was finally able to make a candle with them. And by make a candle, I mean pouring melted wax and scented oil in a canister.... THAT'S IT! For $40?! The actual candle making process was only 30 min. By the way, the rude woman avoided eye contact with me the rest of the time I was there. Message to the front desk lady: You make the entire establishment look bad with your attitude! If that was the manager, that is very unfortunate you have someone like that running your store. Lose the tude or stay in the back and stock candles.
