My van was brought to transmission exchange for transmission repair . Although there were come delays the owner called me himself and made things right as well as went out of his way to test drive the vehicle personally before pick up and stayed in contact even after the vehicle was repaired.

They don't even deserve a star. Me my fiance and our 4 boys came to Texas on vacation for Thanksgiving from Wilmington NC. The brand new transmission we had installed just before the trip went out. We did to find someone who accepted the warranty program. So we used this company. We have now been stranded for going on 3 weeks and have had to two our truck to a different shop. Every day it was some excuse after another why they hadn't worked on our truck. They even lied and said they had ordered the parts for the truck. Here's the thing. My finance is a diesel mechanic. We where told they where working on it on Saturday the 4th of November. So we went to check on the progress. They where closed. Our truck was still sitting in the same spot. So my finance looked under it to see what all they had done. Nothing had been done. So we waited for Monday to roll around so we could ask in person what was the deal. Mind you all the Bays where empty as was most of the parking lot (so they weren't busy)
We were told they where here first. Umm sure however we are stranded 11,000 miles give or take from home with Our boys who are missing school and we are missing work!
So we told them fine we are towing the truck to another shop please gather our paperwork and keys. Only to be told they were charging us $85 for towing . so when I went to pay I asked "why do we need to pay you $85" I was told " for towing " " isn't that covered under the warranty?" " yeah but we didn't do the work" "you're exactly right you've had the truck for 2 weeks and have not done anything! "
Let's just say we paid the money so that we could go about our day but we would never recommend this company to anyone from the outrap laws refusing to let us speak to the owner or manager never again!

After being stranded in Texas and transferring the truck to a secondary transmission shop who got us in-and-out within 4 days we're now at home and I see this horrible remarks from the transmission shop! The lies about the work not being approved etc . Ha i have proof otherwise! such liars and here's the receipt to prove that I paid for the towing. so try me again.
So You want to talk about slander? how do you feel it would look if cottman transmission shop in Wilmington NC where we are from would find out that you're not only slandering me but them? that's OK buddy I'll take you to small claims court if you don't We recant what you said.
And i am a woman not a man! Dam get your facts straight
A good business would take this review and learn from it not bash the person who had a bad experience!

Brought my transmission to them after being screwed over by another shop, and they gave me a great price. They had it done in a timely fashion, and James was great to work with.
