Collins Septic Service

I’ve called these guys multiple times. First they were a week late to come out, they had an emergency so, we let it slide. Then I’ve called multiple times and have been told I’m “on the schedule”. Just here for your regular septic pump. Seems like once they found out that was all we needed we went to the very bottom of the list. I’ve been calling for weeks. And I’ve been “on the schedule” for TWO MONTHS. I was told I would get serviced Wednesday or Thursday of this week (9/27). It’s Thursday at 5, Jack and I are on a first name basis at this point, I called and let him know still no one has showed up. He said we will get to you. I simply said okay, it’s 5p and you’ve told me that. I’m going to keep calling as it’s been two months and I’ve already been charged by my home warranty company (and my home warranty company called them and they never answered/returned phone calls). Jack HUNG UP ON ME. Extremely unprofessional, seems very scammy, not reliable, and doesn’t show up. Very uncalled for and I highly recommend using anyone you possibly can before using this company. Or simply don’t get your septic pumped if this is your only choice.

This contractor was assigned by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. First time I called and left a message, a lady called back saying they were too busy. Second time I called and left messages on both of their numbers. A guy called back said he would come out the next day. No show no call. After that, they won’t even bother to return my calls. After waiting for one month and several calls, AHS finally assigned my service request to another contractor. Hope this one has better service. Will see if he shows up next Monday as promised.

I don't know why anyone would recommend this company, they came out with one price, only to charge you another, they didn't clean the Septic tank completely, when my maintenance man came to inspect the system he said that the tank was filthy and it needed to be cleaned and pumped out again, say what you will about this company, I would not recommend this company period. You got me once, never again!!!!

Not on time and over charges. Want come back to correct the job that was done. They want return phone calls just bad business!! I hate that I call them and had to call someone eles out. The price Collins charge is 3× the price it calls for 500 gallon tank to pump. My tank is 500 gal. but they pull almost 1200 gallon. Didn't sound right to me but he said it's a big tank and it's over full. It's been a month ago and I can't talk to no one. Please Give Me My Money Back!!

ZERO STARS. Unprofessional and unreliable. Can't speak to the quality of work, because they never showed up. I made a service request thru my home warranty contract. Collins Septic took the service call and was supposed to contact me to set up an appointment. A week goes by, and nothing. I finally reached out myself to inquire, and booked an appointment for the following week. I made arrangements for someone else to pick up my kids, and to leave work early to meet them at my house. I called them on my way home just to check in, and only then did the lady who answers the phone tell me that they aren't going to make it out there that day. Thanks a lot. Called back the following week to reschedule (fool me twice, shame on ME. I know), and she said they could come on Saturday. Ok, I'll take it. Saturday comes and goes. No call, no show. They managed to waste my time TWICE. Bush league. If you don't want the job, don't book the appointment! The courtesy of a simple phone call would go a long way to prevent negative reviews, although based on other reviews professionalism and customer service is not something about which Collins is especially concerned. Save yourself the trouble and don't bother calling these folks. EDIT in response to Collins reply: It was not an indoor plumbing job, nor did I have standing water in my home. The service call was to repair a valve on my septic system out in the yard, and I had a confirmed appointment for you to show up twice. Did you even actually read my review? If you're going to be dishonest in a public forum, at least do your homework... this is just pathetic.
