After working with several framers but being dissatisfied either with the service, the work, or both, I discovered Blue Skies and havent worked with another framer since. That was years ago, and Alice and her team has since framed dozens of pieces, ranging from extremely valuable art to bumper stickers for me. They are dedicated to the craft and excellent at it, but more importantly, they provide genuinely friendly treatment in a comfortable environment that befits the best of Austin. As a result of the very high demand and quality of their work, reasonable patience is a must, but it will be well-rewarded.

My original 19th Century oil painting needed a new frame after the original ornate frame was destroyed in shipping. I was referred to Blue Skies by an art restoration company. Alice was so helpful and fun to work with. She found a new molding with the same ornate detail and spirit as the original but with the more modern silver finish that I requested. I am very impressed with the workmanship (the seams are super tight) as well as Alices vision for the piece. Highly recommend Alice and Blue Skies. You can trust them with your treasures!

I just picked up a beautiful framing job from Alice. It look a little time to get back due to COVID delayed with material suppliers, but they were great with communication. Ill be back for any framing needs.
