Ive been seeing Dr. Monge since I was 16 (Im 23 now) and She is the only member of my team I havent out grown. She has always been understanding even when I was sick and angry. She worked hard to find something she could relate to and earned my trust. She always goes to amazing lengths to make me comfortable and achieve the most trauma informed care ive ever received. She is genuinely excited when I tell her good news about my life, my medical journey, or lessening of symptoms. I highly recommend her to anyone who struggles to trust medical professionals because she understands how difficult it is to be ill at such a young age and never forces any tests or treatments on you.

Dr Monge is impeccable, kind, knowledgeable, understanding, genuine. She advocates for her patients among the medical community and the community at large. We are so lucky to be her patient, and Austin is so lucky she lives here. Shes basically awesome!

Dr Monge saw my 16 year old daughter May 2021 when she was having a period that wouldn't stop. She was super attentive during the appointment and put her on medication to help her cycle stop. It didn't work so we had to make tweaks and eventually switched to a different medication which also didn't work. She had informed us that it may be trial and error for a bit which we were ok with. She made a massive increase to her medication that caused my daughter to stop bleeding as well as eating, and triggered an eating disorder that we are still dealing with today. I called and spoke with her nurses quite frequently during this time and they told me to just have her eat, to try a smoothie, to try soft foods. They wouldn't listen to me that she was only eating 300 calories a day. I'm not even sure if they were telling her that I was calling. I later found out that Dr Monge was the doctor for the eating disorder kids at Dell Children's. I don't understand how the support staff of a doctor who treats eating disorders could be so obtuse on how to treat a child who has stopped eating. When I eventually was able to speak to Dr Monge, she was insightful and helped me to figure out my next steps. No one knew that this massive dose of hormones was going to trigger this eating disorder that has upended our lives. I don't blame her for that. But it blew my mind that we were treated so carelessly and flippantly when we desperately needed help with the aftermath of that dose. So few people not in the eating disorder world know how to deal with them properly. For an office that was supposed to be informed about them, their care was lacking at best.

She is grossly Incompetent and uninformed; she should not be allowed to practice medicine. Her focus is on revenue generation and not appropriate patient care, in my opinion. Dr Monge diagnosed my child as transgender despite lacking the requisite training or expertise (she is trained in internal medicine and has no psychiatric training). She prescribed puberty blockers and testosterone, without an appropriate specialist psychiatric evaluation by a qualified medical professional
