    I used Nate and InstaMove before and it was one of the best moving experiences I ever had. When I used them a second time, it was a nightmare. It took over 12hrs to move a 2 bedroom home. Upon unpacking our brand new fridge was banged up and scratched, our coffee table was completely destroyed, and the legs of our bed were ripped off. This totaled about $3000 of damage, Nate originally was great and communicative. He said he would file an insurance claim, now 7 months later I've received no follow up despite reaching out multiple times. There was plenty of other minor damage, but I'm not a picky person, I was just hoping they would make right on the items that were destroyed. I've never had this happen with any other movers before, I can't recommend enough that you stay away from this company.

    I hired them for a move in JULY. The owners’ son - who happened to be one of the movers, by the way! - destroyed my irreplaceable old piano! Now the owner, Nate, has had my piano in his garage for nearly 6 months! He has also completely stopped communicating with me. I have no idea WHATS going on! First of all, Nate told me that they would move it at no additional charge because they charge by the hour. Happy about that, I opted to have them do it, assuming they would know what they were doing. When his son had trouble getting it out of my house, Nate came over to help and was reassuring. Then he took off and didn’t bother to make sure it got loaded or stabilized properly. Then he allowed his son and the other kid to drive it to my second story apartment, where if it had arrived in one piece, they would have had to haul it up two flights of stairs by themselves. Then when he found out the thing was broken, he decided not to file an insurance claim. Now he’s spent at least a thousand dollars and he says he can’t afford to fix it!!! This is the most f*ked up thing I have ever had to deal with from a business owner! I have been cordial with him; I haven’t hounded him at all. I’ve been trying to give him room to fix his errors, but we’re in DECEMBER now, and still no piano, and he has stopped communicating with me completely... it’s been a nightmare!! Please go see my original post on Thumbtack, just be aware that you’ll have to flip through a bunch of 1-Star ratings to get to it.
