I contacted a lot of law firms after reading many 5 star reviews claiming that X person was the best Immigration lawyer in Austin. What I know is Mr. Berner was accessible, honest, compassionate, skilled at his craft and detail oriented. He didn't try to solicit my business at all or hide his fee schedule behind a paid first consultation. He tried to arm me with as much information I needed to make sure I was setting my case up for success. After talking to 4 other lawyers, I ended up exactly where I started. He's not the cheapest but he follows up the quickest and unlike almost every other firm, did not need to look up laws and get back to me. He knew them in great detail and makes the other top ranked lawyers I talked to seem inexperienced.
