Oak Hill Scuba Inc

Oak Hill Scuba is PERMANENTLY CLOSED as of February 14, 2015. Not sure when they actually closed, but when I went by the shop this afternoon, I discovered an empty store front and a "for lease" sign in the window. :(

We've been diving for 3 years now thanks to OHS. We're also good friends (and neighbors) with our original dive instructor. These guys are nothing but fantastic. It was a great place to learn and we still go back there to purchase equipment. 5 stars!

I don't live in Austin but I occasionally have working dives locally. I can only speak about Oak Hill in regards to tank fills. First the staff is very friendly and it has a family atmosphere. They were never pushy or rude. The staff at Oak Hill take enough time to not give you a hot fill, yet are quick and efficient. The prices here are cheap and the store is on the way to the lake from South Austin. This place also has a tank rental type club and the deal seemed amazing! The annual price of it is far cheaper than owning your on bottles. It was a lot less than my annual cost after paying for fills and inspections. If you live and dive around Austin check it out. I'm bringing my bottles here for the annual visual inspection due to dissatisfaction with the other guys (you know who) sucking it up and loosing my tanks for 2 months last year. Support local independent stores, and shop at Oak Hill Scuba!!!!
