10 out of 10, would recommend! Salem and his crew are amazing and transparent. I've always received amazing service. If there was ever something that the manufacturer HAD to service, Salem would investigate my warranty options so I went in knowing what to do. Definitely the best shop in Texas! Life long customer here.

They sold the business! Makes me sad. New ownership starts on Jan 6,I think. But leaving a message on the phone does not get a call back from new guys. I’ve tried several times to get someone to answer phone. Only once did someone pickup to let me know there are new owners.

I love Salem's! I'm not originally from Texas and back home I had a great auto shop that I returned to for many years. Upon arriving to Texas, I had some pretty rough experiences with other shops in the area and was really missing my old auto shop when I discovered Salem's! The person who works in the front is fantastic. He takes the time to explain everything and even explain why it is immediately necessary to fix or why it is something that could be put on hold for a little while (I'm not made out of money, folks). None of that fear mongering to get me to spend as much money as possible that other shops practice. He takes time to listen to my issues and even referred me to a muffler shop when a specific part would be very costly to completely replace but much cheaper to just weld back together. It saved me thousands of dollars and Salem's didn't make a cent (on this specific transaction). It's customer service like this that keeps me returning. I haven't had any issues with any repairs done on my vehicle. I used to work near Salem's so it was really easy to drop my car off before work and pick up at lunch or after work. Now I work downtown but the added inconvenience of location is no matter for me because they are so dependable. I officially have a new great auto shop that I will return to for many years. Support locally-owned small businesses, y'all! You won't regret it.
