Balcones Club

The property is not too bad, but the parking situation is horrible. There are just not enough parking spots in this complex. If you don't pay for a reserved spot, you will find yourself parking at the complete opposite end of the complex. They even ran out of reserved spots when I was there. Had neighbors move in the last month I was there, and they brought German cockroaches with them that quickly spread to my unit. I don't think think place is worth the price.

The apartment is well maintained, clean, airy with a beautiful view of golf course close to good restaurants and good schools and parks. I would recommend the new residents to get the reserved parking(covered $35 or $20) once move in as sometimes it would be difficult to figure out an empty parking slot.

We have been living at Balcones Club for 9 years, and just renewed our lease for next year. The property is well maintained and the maintenance team lead by Jose are on top of the repairs. The leasing office staff are very pleasant and receptive of the needs of the community, and I think they are top notch !

Without a doubt one of the best apartments I have ever lived in. The staff is simply wonderful, especially Kathy, apartment manager. And she said the field and Vibe for the place is true Austin. Not a cookie-cutter apartment complex. Very Scenic with many trees and paths. Perfect if you have a doggy. Love this place.

NOTE: Someone replied to my review below from mgmt with an unacceptable response, because the physical pain & inconvenience I suffered definitely could have been avoided, but, with them knowing who I am, they suggest my calling them vs. them reaching out to me; we're now at 6 days after my review & I still have heard from no one! Where we live is very personal, we all want to be treated respectfully and with kind concern. I have lived here many years, yet, I was treated horribly This Entire week, with no compassion! (it being known I had arm surgery & live alone) over the issue of my place being repainted, so on Monday my largest furniture was moved into storage & the rest of my things I had to pack & center in each rm of this lrg loft & the rest within the apt... Huge job! I had to put it off from the original Tuesday of this week scheduled, but was told in front of the Maintenance Mgr by a painting company representative that it could still be accomplished This Week availability = W-Th-Fri INSTEAD it was pushed to NEXT Wednesday😱😵😨😤 by that time (which they also know) I will have been sleeping on the floor! for 8! days. We have a great manager here who happened to be out, so I reached out to upper management where the area mgr JJ Gilbert wouldn't even respond to my request for a Call to discuss, instead she sent me a cold, dismissive email. I'm beyond stressed and depressed as the situation I'm left in could have been resolved kindly and favorably.
