The Joplin at Crestview Apartments

They lost my application and my 149 dollar money order. Don't apply here is my advice or if you do make sure you keep the receipt for your money order or you probably will never see that money again. They kept telling me they would get back to me if they found it but I know they're not going to because they know as well as I do that somebody stole it and threw my application in the trash. Oh well I wouldn't have applied to live here if I would've read the reviews anyway. I would love it if the owners of this place would at least apologize but that still won't get my money back.

Don't move here. Every bad review here still exists. From the leaf blowers before 7 AM (literally husband and wife team so you can guess how long it takes) to the roach problems, to no hot water and refusal from staff to fix it. I can't help but feel like I got conned into living here. Neither the apartment manager nor maintenance live here, so they have little to no motivation to help. I've been waiting over a month for a promised plumber and door weather strip.. One month for a weather strip...

The water is turned off pretty frequently. And by frequently I mean at least once a month if not twice. Aside from that the place is what it is. When I moved my mom in of April 2019 they had these vision boards in the office that showed the painting upgrades that had planned out for the property. It's now two years later and the property has not been touched. The office staff was always nice to deal with but took a while to respond to a few of my emails. (I had to send follow up emails.) Initial work orders I told the office about at the beginning of the lease were never addressed. Like a missing cabinet knob. (Quick fix right?) My mom occupied the unit next to the laundry room and would complain about a smell coming through the vents. Sometimes chemical and sometimes it just smelled like a really strong overpowering dryer sheet. There definitely are more then just you normal/average amount of roaches at this place.

Roach infested apartments . There was always issues with hot water that will take days to resolve. Cockroaches are everywhere when the lights are off , on the kitchen countertops all over the floors . Disgusting place.
