    The worst management and living experience I have ever experienced. Poorly maintained facilities, overpriced, totally inept staff. Took two months (and multiple unreturned emails and calls) to get my deposit back. Do not live in any of their properties.

    Horrible management , They don't replace anything and they don't ever fix broken AC units properly. You create work orders and they will ignore them for over 2 weeks to a month or not see them at all . They deleted all my work order history as well. Worst apartment management I have ever experienced. Walls and doors get crooked and get cracks, old windows letting insects in. Units have mold. Maintenence crew is understaffed and throws junk outside in a shed. Apartments are full of second hand smoke despite these being no smoking properties. Nobody enforces these rules despite their promises. Pools get closed all the time ,laundry rooms are dirty, hot and expensive. You pay way too much money for rent just to get substandard quality housing and get fees added constantly .

    I lived in one of their buildings for years and the experience was beyond miserable. Bad experiences including but not limited to: The parent company was unable to pay contractors for remodel, which stalled for months, left a rotting dumpster full of garbage in the driveway for an entire summer. Animals live in the building including rats and squirrels. Rat droppings common. A squirrel died in my walls once after repeated requests to manage the animal (they have very identifiable behavior). The horrible smell lasted for weeks ... not a small animal. Awful accountability for utilities payments. For a six month period charges ballooned by 300% with no explanation (I did line for line accounting for every bill for years to identify the discrepancy). It was easier to just pay the **** because they kept charging me late fees and not providing documentation for the bills. The only thing I can say that is improved is they now use a third party service to handle utilities, but still, upon moving out they listed a whole bunch of charges from months previous, even though all previous bills had been paid. More time and energy trying to claw back money. Terrible maintenance on the apartments. At one point someone walked off the job in the middle of a sink repair and I did not have a functioning kitchen sink for six weeks. Management conveniently deleted all history of maintenance requests at one point so there was no evidence. Incredibly fast turnover among staff. Over the five years living at this location (4 of which the building was owned by CSC) I swear I never spoke to the same manager twice. At one point I think the turnover was as high as every few weeks. This may have stabilized slightly at this point. Oh, and they never answer their phones. I should have moved out year one, but I was in graduate school and it was always easier to stay than move ... I figured it couldn't get worse. But it did. The only good thing I can say is that the end was not as bad as the middle, but still. Plenty of rats still in the apartment wall, droppings on the floor, difficult to get in touch with the office, annoying billing discrepancies: dealt with all this until the very end. Good luck.
