Century Plaza Apartments

The apartment is pretty old. The maintenance guys are very hard to deal with. Response is super slow. Loads of issues. Not one bit satisfied

STAY AWAY!! I never cared enough to write a google review before, but this apartment deserves this. The apartment is severely infested with roaches and you literally can see roaches crawling everywhere. The AC makes huge sound that we had to turn it off while we had to concentrate. Very unprofessional managers. Maintenance is non-existent. They literally made a HUGE hole in the roof of bedroom and closed it with a useless plastic cover and left it for MONTHS!!. We used to fear the cover leaks when it rained. Never ever looking back at this place.

I love these apartments. I love the location. I've lived here for about 12-13 years. I've transferred twice since I moved in. All I can really say is AC goes in and out. No control of it. Heat turns on after it hits a certain temperature outside so be prepared to purchase an electric heater in the meantime. Water shut offs occasionally due to emergencies (which can be inconvenient with a baby in the apartment or trying to get ready for work or an appointment. Main issue is since we moved into a 2x1.5 and COVID-19 has been around we can't get ANYTHING FIXED unless we do it ourselves. I've been in my 2x1.5 for about 3 months I think and the AC is still dripping in the tub which is nasty when your trying to take a shower and the AC leak is constantly dripping on you or when the grandbaby is taking a bath and the AC leak is dripping into the tub with the clean water.(NASTY). I still can't use the right side of my sink due to a leak in the pipes. The 1/5 bath drips which could cause a hazardous fall with my grand-daughter in there (and if it happens) oh boy there will be a huge lawsuit on their hands. The main bathroom stopper doesn't go up/down as it's suppose to. I've submitted the work order and it has not been addressed once. I've emailed a couple of times and it has not been addressed. I know when you are paying to live in any place we should have the luxury to use the place and make it feel like home with work order requests being fulfilled in a timely manner. NOPE not here. However, if all this got fixed along with other issues it would be more pleasant. I wouldn't have stayed as long as I have if I didn't like living here at Century Plaza. It's home to my family. Pertaining to my work order that was never addressed. I decided to log into my online account and noticed the work order was submitted as complete when not one person ever came to fix my apartment. Unprofessional---it was submitted on in June and closed on 9/9/2020. I wish it was all complete. My lead maintenance stated he would come over to my apartment and fix all the work order issues. If that's the case then I'm expecting a decrease in my rent for his time paid for working on my apartment and the cost of each item replaced. I said no- it's not his responsibility... The nerve!!!

The management at Century Plaza apartments are amazing. They care about their tenants and the facility is always kept up. Highly recommend.
