This is a great preschool. My daughter has been here for about 6 months now and I have never seen children unattended. It is true that the head administrator is a bit of a scatter brain but I have seen improvement in her organization skills and she is always good with the children. Usually the parents that have problems with this place are the ones that don't pay on time or don't follow the rules. Payments are easy to do either online or dropping off a check in the slot. My only complaint is that you have to pay an extra one time charge of $65 during the summer because they are doing more activities but I don't see much of that for my 3 year old. Other than that the weekly price is great since they also provide food.

I had high hopes for this location, as I was a KinderCare kid myself. Unfortunately, after much thought, I would not even give this location 1 star. My son was in the toddler room, and would come home with absolutely horrible rashes, and the teachers had no idea why. My son previously never got diaper rashes. Now, he would heal up over the weekend, while he was with me, and then would be in tears by Wednesday. Big. Red. Flags. I had several long conversations with the teacher, and started keeping a more watchful eye on the daily report sheet. The teacher eventually suggested it may be a milk allergy, and sure enough, once we took him off of the milk, the majority of the rashes went away. HOWEVER. Once it was known he had a milk allergy, I caught at least 3 separate times in the next month/month and half that the teacher had written out she had given him milk, crossed it out, and promised me it was incorrect, only to see him with a horrible rash. I also found her penciling in diaper changes for the entire day when I went to pick my son up. Unacceptable. Further, I can't prove it because of that issue, but I am fairly positive they left my son in poop diapers for long periods of time, further explaining other rashes. I also picked my son up after my typical 5:30 one day, and found him, at about 18 months, strapped into a stroller, next to a woman on a laptop, not paying a lot of attention, with the rest of the kid's facilities running around him. I am not positive on the ratio of teacher to kids, it may have been better than it appeared. I asked why my (very mobile) son was in a stroller rather than being out, and did not get a clear answer. The teacher stated it was a new idea to move the kids to the joined room at 5 pm, the director stated it was not, and they should not be moved over until 5:45 pm. I still don't know what the actual plan was, but I know I did not leave him past 5:15 again, nor did I find him in the joint classroom again. Which may be a result of successful communication, and help from the director, but I am not sure. At this point, we had already turned in our notice (after 5-6 months of actual being at this facility). The last day, the teacher called me at about 5 pm to tell me my son had 103+ fever. They stated it had only taken an hour to raise that high. I was livid--how did no one notice before? Additionally, my son has never taken only an hour to get that high of a fever. Who was paying attention? In the 5-6 months we were there, we saw about 4-5 different toddler room teachers. In those turnovers, my son spent about a month in the baby room, and another month in the toddler room without a curriculum. I regret not taking my son out sooner. We are now at a Montessori in Flower Mound, for a similar price, and we could not be happier. My son has yet to have any diaper rash issues. Maybe the problems are only in the toddler room--but I do not recommend this daycare.
