My brother, the most honest person I know, went to take his polygraph test here for a PD job. This guys was condescending, rude and accused him of things that were not true. Very unprofessional

This is actually my second time testing with this company. Each time the proctor has been extremely professional and put me at ease. Mr. Shortes was very personable and knowledgeable in this area. I recommend other agencies to use his services.

Stacey Shortes is very unprofessional and condescending. He begins with a pre-interview where is talks to you like you are a liar and criminal with no evidence or reason. He talks to you as if you are lying from the moment you walk in. He had me so flustered and more so angry and red faced before the test even began. I did not allow Mr. Shortes to even hook me up for the test. Polygraph stays on your record as you move around in your career. I wasn't going to allow this narcissist the satisfaction. I walked out of his office. The department that sent me actually hired me anyway after I explained his tactics. They just sent me to a different examiner and I passed with flying colors. I've been happily employed at the same department in spite of Mr. Shortes' GOD like complex, unprofessional behavior and condescending tone. In the Fire service and Law Enforcement, everyone talks. Mr. Shortes is not very popular and has been removed as a potential examiner by many fire/law enforcement departments for this type of behavior. I've heard his name come up many times and it's never good. He bragged about being a police officer for 20 plus years in my pre-interview once I began to snap back at his ridiculous accusations. A few people I've spoken with, who worked with him in Irving, dislike him and lack respect for his demeanor. I think the 200 plus reviews on google shows a perfect 5 star rating from all reviews as they gush at how amazing the experience was getting a polygraph. Like anyone is going to gush about a polygraph. He obviously has friends, family or himself writing ridiculous reviews. What kind of person thinks everyone is a liar and deceptive? A lying deceptive person named Stacey Shorts who owns North Texas Polygraph!!!!!

I have taken several polygraphs throughout my career, and I just want to say how much I appreciated my process with NTPS! As everyone can imagine, polygraphs are very stressful! I have been to 3 different polygraph providers and absolutely none compare to the professional service and treatment I received at North Texas Polygraph Services. Stacy Shortes was professional and straight to the point, no BS, no accusations, just facts.. I normally dont write reviews but really felt compelled to share my experience with people since polygraphers have a bad stigma. Thank you NTPS!
