    image They either misdiagnosed the problem, or failed to fix it properly, and as a result, mold has been developing. I have tried to contact them and have recieved no response. It has been over a week and not so much as a courtesy call. I do not understand how this company has 4 stars when I am dealing with such unprofessionalism. Not only am I giving them a low rating, but I am telling my friends/family to stay away! Services: HVAC maintenance, AC repair

    image Let me start by saying that if you have a Home Warranty claim this company puts your repair at the back of the line. They even ask when you call in if you'll be paying for the service directly of if you have a warranty claim. Warranty Claims get transferred to another line. I placed a claim on 08.28.21 with the warranty company and I called Greenway the same day to schedule. I was on the schedule for Monday, 08.30.21 between 12pm -5pm. I informed Greenway at the time of schedule that the water issue was outside. Come 6:30PM on 08.30.21 I received a call from the tech that he was on his way. When I mentioned to him that it was getting dark and that the issue was with a spigot outside, he said he'd have to reschedule the visit - he needed to see what he was doing. So, I phoned Greenway back the next day to see if the appointment was indeed rescheduled. I was now on the schedule for Friday 09.03.21 between 8AM - 12PM (fantastic we did not have to worry about running out of daylight). On Wednesday I received a text they could come on Thursday if that worked. Unfortunately, it did not work with my schedule and I text them back that I'd keep my original Friday spot. When I received the text reply back it was confirmed for Friday 12pm-5pm. When I inquired about the new timeframe, they said the tech that I had been scheduled with had an emergency and I was now scheduled from 12pm - 5pm (here we go again!) So, Friday came and at 5:30pm I called to check on the tech and was told there were 2 calls ahead of me...REALLY??? So, again and after a week of waiting on these guys my service call would be bumped again! I phoned AHS immediately and explained the issue and explained this company has terrible reviews and to send the claim to a new vendor. One that treats a warranty claim customer the same as any other customer. AHS has marked Greenway Home Service as a "do not use" vendor. If you have AHS request, they not schedule you with Greenway.

    image Our central air unit, split Trane unit, wasn't blowing cool or cold air in June. AHS was called to do a diagnostic on the unit. We paid our service fee to AHS and on 6/4/2021 Greenway came out, put in 3 lbs of coolant and did a UV-leak test. I have their invoice.
    On August 1st AHS was contacted again because the a/c unit stopped blowing cool/cold air, another service fee was paid for Greenway Home Services to return for the same problem.
    Greenway diagnosed the a/c as needing a new coil, (covered by AHS warranty), modifications to duct work, modifications to a drain line and 11 lbs of coolant, all of which were not covered by AHS and totaling $1,735.00..
    I became suspicious that Greenway wasn't being truthful and was fabricating a an expensive repair that purposely wasn't covered by AHS. This was confirmed to me by another home owner who had the same experience with Greenway. I asked Greenway to put their diagnosis in writing and email it to me. It never arrived. My husband had a conversation with a supervisor which went nowhere.
    We called a very reputable heating and cooling company that we have used for 11 years to come and look at the unit. Lie #1: it was 2.5 pounds low on coolant, not 11 pounds that Greenway purported. Lie #2: there was a leak around the coil which a dye test confirmed and the leak was repaired. Lie #3: no modifications were needed for the unit. Total cost was $673.00.
    We should be refunded for the fee we paid in June since obviously the leak test that Greenway claims they performed was bogus, a lie. We should also be refunded for the August 1st fee for the same issue which Greenway tried to exaggerate and lie about.
    We are considering cancelling our AHS warranty because of your choice in dishonest contractors. The list of complaints filed with the BBB against Greenway Home Services since June are numerous.
