Deer Ridge Mountain Resort

All in all, I'd probably rate this place a 4.5. it's not perfect but I feel a 4.0 is selling it short. Rooms were clean, and we'll maintained but a little dated. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy. Views are great, amenities on site are nice, not far from Gatlinburg. We'll definitely be looking to stay here again on our next trip to the area.

We were here for 2 nights and the condo was very comfortable, It’s a great place with amazing views. For sure We’re staying here again.

Would really like to give 4.5 stars bc the issues were pretty minor. Firstly, the view is truly as spectacular as advertised and the staff is fantastic! There were several communication issues when planning our wedding and it was nearly a disaster when we got there but the staff pulled through and helped give us a fabulous wedding day! The rooms are rather hit and miss quality wise because they are individually owned but if you use the website as a guide you can find the brilliant ones of which there are several! The handicapped accessible rooms use the term a bit loosely but should be fine for anyone with a standard wheelchair or other "standard" accessibility needs. Honestly, I think this is more of an issue with the age of the buildings. They renovated as best they could but it wasn't quiet enough for someone in a specialized, oversized chair who can only shuffle very limited distances. The restaurant is also more limited than we were originally told which was a bummer but Gatlinburg is pretty close and there are other, locally owned restaurants even closer. On the plus side the pool and jacuzzi were fantastic! Didn't get to try the steam room or sauna though.
