Place had bed bugs. Stay away from this one. You get what you pay for. This isn't the one.

Stay away!! Place is a rip off. Crazy man at front desk threatened by cussing, screaming and accused us of trespassing and was going to call police. We used the trail from down the road, not behind his property, but he was adamant that we did. He has cameras, and we asked him to view the footage to prove so, but he continued his accusations and threats. Our intentions were to stop for coffee and thought his place had the cafe. We reported this incident, turns out he is well known to the community to be unstable. Hope he doesn't have a gun because as his dementia progresses, he will eventually use it. Stay away.

Was a great place to stay because it is close to a lot of places (Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Badlands). Rooms/cabins are old and outdated but clean and no bugs as advertised. Kitchen had everything we needed and fridge was a decent size. Compared to other places it was great for us. Charcoal grill provided along with use of a fire pit for the cool nights. Swimming pool is clean too. George was great to work with. He made sure we had everything and was comfortable. Thanks George! If we ever head that way again, we'll be back. Nearby activities: Rushmore, Crazy horse, Badlands, Custer st Park and Deadwood.

We stayed in a cabin from June 28 thru July 2nd. The temp got down to 43 degrees F and when I asked him to turn on the heat he didnt want to. There was a broke window, the bathroom door did not close, the bathroom was impossible to take care of business, the shower head could not be moved making a shower almost impossible. We never cooked in the cabin. We used the fridge, 1 coffee cup, and 2 glasses. We cleaned, vacuumed & swept but still he kept our deposit stating we did not clean. He did the same thing to our friends in the suite. There was 10 adults all over the age of 60. The pool was green & nasty. I do not suggest staying there.

We did not stay here but simply called and asked about the pool. The man who answered the phone was very annoyed and must of have been having a bad day. Before my husband could even ask if we could pay to swim the man said don't waste my time and hung up the phone. We were staying across the road. Oh well hope he doesn't treat everyone like that. **I would like to respond to the crazy reply back from this place. Clearly the customer service skills are lacking in employees and the owner. We just wanted to ask a simple no or yes question thinking maybe you opened up your pool for people for a certain price for a couple hours to create some more revenue. I guess you have never heard of that? We had been observing no one in the pool. Our family could have been a potential customer for a future trip but not anymore. Reviewing some of the other reviews this seems to be a trend. You claim to be a business owner but then act this way toward any negative type comment. Insulting and assuming things just is very unprofessional.
