Budget Truck Rental

BEWARE!!! This place is a nightmare! We rented a truck to move our daughter to TN, and we received a call 1 hour before we were to pick it up to say that they had overbooked and had no truck for us. They said they would look for another truck and get back to us. I ended up having to call them back as they never called me, and of course, they said they could not find any available truck within 50 miles. I made this reservation weeks ago, and I am sure they knew well before our rental date and time that a truck was not available! This left us scrambling to find another truck with another company, and of course, it cost more since we were trying to rent something immediately. Horrible experience! Never again!

Im upset with the service I received I made reservations online when I arrived to the store, the guy couldnt find it and he had to go through the computer again to locate my reservations. I dont know exactly what he did but it took extra 20 minutes so I was late for picking up my items that I needed to pick up. I also told him that I did not want any coverage to waive all the coverages because I am a AAA member and I have my own insurance that covers any vehicle that Im driving. He said OK. He said there is a deposit that they must hold on my card until I return the rental. Then I had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes because he wasnt able to locate the truck keys to me. I believe he needed assistance or more training because I was still charge $75 for insurance that I did not ask for, and I verbally told him that at the desk I was with my daughter at the time. Now I am reaching out to the corporate office to try to get a refund and theyre telling me they cant refund me because the service is done. I told her that the worker said they would make the adjustment and no adjustment was made so I would not use this company again and filing a complaint with my bank and the Better Business Bureau.

Dont waste your time with this company I placed a reservation for a truck weeks in advance due to moving out of state only for them to call me the day before to tell me my truck isnt going to be Available then the CSR Amanda was very rude and unprofessional from over talking me to calling me Love when I asked to speak to a supervisor she told me there was no supervisor for me to talk to she then yells my reservation is canceled and hung up in my face I will never use Budget ever again I would suggest anyone considering this company to use Uhaul
