About a year ago i called Upstate Concrete to get a quote on applying Epoxy coating to our shop floor. Within 2 days Tyler Clark, owner of Upstate Concrete came out, measured and provided us a quote within 48 hours. After reviewing our various quotes we signed the contract with Tyler. We were impressed with the way he handled himself and it didn't hurt that he had the lowest bid. Selecting Upstate Concrete was more than the fact they were low bidders, we felt like Tyler had the desire to do a great job. Tyler and crew started exactly when they said they would. First step was to grind floor. Tyler spent 3 days getting floors perfect. Next was to apply the Epoxy color coat. On the last section of color coat the employee mixing the Epoxy, miss-measure the hardener so the last section of Epoxy didn't harden properly. Tyler immediately notified me and instantly set up removing sticky Epoxy and sanding of the entire project. It was very impressive, to us, Tyler didn't blame anyone and set in immediately to repair the problem. Within two days Tyler had the entire floor ready to install a new layer of Color Coat. It amazed us he bought the extra Epoxy to actually coat the entire floor twice, that's two times. Not once did he ask for more money or complain. After the clear coat and flakes were completed, we had the most beautiful shop floor one could ask for. Its been a year since completion and our floors are absolutely beautiful even after 12 months of paving machines, trackhoes, asphalt rollers and a host of other heavy equipment, our floors look exactly as they did when Upstate Concrete loaded up and waved goodbye. Tyler was awesome. First thing is he did exactly what he said he would do. Was on time and kept us in the loop as the project progressed. His work was very professional and looks awesome. Totally blown away!! If you need your pool cool decked or your garage floor done, don’t waste your time looking anywhere else. Call Tyler and he will get it done on time and on budget!!
