Antipasto salad was excellent. The dressing, the cheese, the crunch of the greens mixed with sweet peppers made it. The meatballs on the sub were spiced well and the marinara was great. The fried green tomato pannini was tasty with a rich pimento cheese. We didn't know until we sat and looked at the menu that they serve Veal. We talked with the manager about this and she explained it was an old family recipe. If Veal is removed from menu, we would definitely eat there again.

Good home style Italian food. Our server was unpolished but did his job well. Food was reasonably priced and nothing too special. But I did love the menu selection. I like a well balanced menu that you can read in under 2 mins and make a decision. Wine list could be a little bit more robust, you only have 2 options Robert Mondavi or house wine. But to be fair a bottle of wine runs 19 dollars across the board. This is a very family friendly restaurant. Accommodating, budget friendly and the children there seemed to love the food. They were over the top with excitement for their meal.

Sat and waited 15 minutes before getting a menu. Add another 15 minutes to get drinks. Place was not packed. Food was OK, but the lasagna was soupy as the other reviewer noted. Lasagna, small salad, and two pieces of bread was $15.00 plus drink. Flavor was not that great, but service was the worst aspect.

Almost 40.... it will be very hard to replace this pillar in the Lexington community.
