VERY NOISY hotel because it's located near some VERY NOISY bars and they play LOUD music at night. I couldn't sleep at night and I don't recommend it to anyone at all.

Five star for a very unique hotel. interior design is good looking with mix of old concept and modern design. love this hotel

Have stayed numerous times over several years and have never had a bad experience. Convient location and everything is within walking distance. Five star experience without the pretentious five star feel.

For over 16 yrs this has been our getaway place from Charlotte and it is a delight! Right in the heart of historic Columbia near the university with the 5 points fountain just steps outside the front door, the architecture of this old brick converted bakery make the loft king rooms surprisingly quiet. Even the train passing through at midnight on the tracks nearby does not disturb this light sleeper. Amazing service, wonderful, comfortable bedding, included breakfast brought to your room at the time you choose the night before by hanging your order on the door before 11 p.m. (!) Ask for a loft king with the spiral staircase and you won't be disappointed.
