Our food was below average at best. I got shrimp and scallops and the rice was crunchy, swimming in chicken broth. It was a $34 dish that was bland and unappetizing. The shrimp and scallops had no flavor. My husband and daughter got soft shell crab that was over fried and much too salty. They had no flavor at all either. Very disappointing for a tab that was almost $200 for 3 people.

The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was superb, I got mine Nashville Hot, with mashed potatoes and braised collards. My wife ordered the Potato Gnocchi, herb roasted Lowcountry mushrooms, spinach, whipped goat cheese, brown butter vinaigrette. She said it was very good. A tiny place, you will need a reservation. A little to small for my personal liking. Overall a nice upscale restaurant in downtown Beaufort, SC. Maybe a tad overpriced. Parking: It's downtown Beaufort, good luck...

The food is ok, however, it's a bit pricey. The bar is small with about a dozen seats. There is no happy hour. The restaurant is quite popular with Beaufort seniors.
