    I am a High SchoolCoach in town for a tournament. However my assistant (I have 3 assistants) drove down ahead of me with the kids. (I had work commitments) I made sure they could check in early and had his name on the checkin form. When I arrived he was out with the kids getting some food. I kindly explained to Joseph I'm in town with this team. Here is our confirmation email. I am aware my name is not on the list, but her are our four room numbers 1,2,3,4. I'd just like to drop my things off and head out to meet the team. As I expected, Joseph said since my name is not on the reservation I cannot get access. This makes sense to me and I asked if I can sit and wait in the lobby. Signal was poor and they have wifi. Joseph said this was fine. Its a safety issue, I work with children and honesly I appreciated this policy. I sat 5 feet from Joseph where the couches were. After an hour my other assistant arrived. I explained to her the situation and she decided to speak with Joseph too. What do you know... Her name was not on the reservation, and she gave the same room number. Mind you I'm only a few feet away and Joseph provided her with a fresh room key to the same room I had requested. I waited over an hour in the lobby. Joseph decided to side step "policy" right in front of me, for MY ROOMS. For the exact same reason I had provided earlier, mind you she did not have the booking or confirmation information that I have. I approached Joseph to ask him a bout this. He told me since I gave all 4 room numbers, and she gave just one he could comply with her request. I'll be honest I caught Joseph in a lie and told him so and asked for his response. (An apology... Sir, I'm so sorry I messed up) etc... would have been fine but Joseph stood silently starring at me. I asked for his manger contact finally he replied that he was the manager. I asked for his supervisor's contact information and he went silent again. Then simply pointed to the set of business cards. I took one of each because several had the same title on them. The next morning as I checked out I was greeted by Tamara who said she was Joseph's Supervisor. She said he had let her know a little about the situation but wanted to hear my perspective. I appreciated this. She informed me Josph was new, but I feel this is a very simple policy violation that probably would not have occured at a lesser franchise let alone a Marriot. Tamara told me she'd like to have my information to speak more with him and follow up with me to make any amends within reason. Howver it has been 4 weeks and I have not heard from anyone. Now you have my post. I'll be honest it wasn't the world biggest infraction but when you say its a policy and safety issue you should stand by that. Its just a really bad look. Safety: I would say based on this exprience it is not safe to stay here as the staff is inconsisent with (policy)

    Not a review on lodging. But last night, after returning from my trip, I went to pick up my car parked in the lot and it couldnt start. I got stranded in the lobby from 11:30pm to about 5am to recharge my jump starter kit. The people in the concierge were the nicest and most available employees I had the chance to see in a while, and my review is just a way to let everyone know how wonderful the staff at Fairfield Inn is. They even let me borrow a more powerful charger, offered me popcorn, water, and pizza, and despite the state of panic I was in, they made me feel welcome and safe. I have no words to express my gratitude, and Im sorry that in the chaos I was in, I forgot to ask their name. But if you want to find extraordinary compassion and care in a hotel conveniently close to PVD airport, look no further. Thank you so so much for helping me out last night!

    I stayed in room 107 , the fitted sheet came up a little (because Im a wild sleeper and it wasnt securely tucked like how hotels usually do), the atrocity of a mattress that was underneath was very alarming and sickening. If you arent going to change mattresses that have bad stains, common sense would be to put a protecting mattress cover, (which they have in plastic or cotton so its not noticeable or stiff) its 2024 get up to the times! There was no alarm clock, only one night stand. The tall standing light didnt work. It was very dim in the room. The staff was friendly and always present at the front desk though. Parking was plentiful. Location is prime for people traveling. Lots of Uber eats options. Free breakfast if youre willing to go that route. Theres a pool. They are doing construction right now too on the lobby entrance and side back entrance. There wasnt any disturbance noise wise though. There sink is not located in the bathroom (its in the room not far from the bed), so if youre staying with someone else, keep that in mind.     Meeting only. But associates who stayed here liked it a lot. Very convenient to airport. Friendly staff. Very nice lobby and breakfast area. Excellent rates, too
