Dr. Hess was amazing, her staff on the other hand, very disrespectful.
When my wife was seen, Dr Hess told us to go to Hershey and her staff would send the paper work up. My wife called today (6/28/23) got the number for Hershey medical center. They never called to let Hershey know what was going on. So when my wife relayed the message back to from Hershey to the staff, they were very rude, had an attitude and kept cutting off my wife. Not only is my wife's eyes getting worse every day, but now we have to wait and pray if they will send the paper work over to Hershey. We are literally at there mercy....complete bull.

Dr. Kerchner is very talented, pleasant and does a great job.
I am truly very happy with her strategy and methodology to treat my eyes issues.
Staff is very helpful and my insurance company had made a mistake, Faith along with her staff handled even my two years old bill.
Thank you so much to all at Elmwood eye.

The staff was really nice and helpful. I was referred because I had taken medication that required my eyes to be checked yearly. This last visit I was having issues and needed my eyes dilated and examined. I also asked for an new prescription for eye glasses. Dr. Surer couldn't hear well enough to understand what his assistants were trying to tell him. So he only heard the part about the new prescription. He didn't dilate my eyes nor check for what I was referred there for. I ordered glasses from the prescription he gave me and I couldn't get used to them. I made another eye appointment with my primary eye doctor. He said that he was way off on my Rx. He explained that there is margin for error but not that much error. I had to order another pair of glasses. I am very upset that I wasted 200 dollars on glasses because of an error that could of been prevented. I do not know anyone that can afford 200 dollar glasses twice. I guess there's no way to be compensated for the error. But I can try to prevent it from happening to someone else.
