I first reached out to Absolute Value to schedule tutoring for my 15 year olds AP exam, then again for my 10 year olds summer camp. I found the owners to be responsive, professional, friendly and extremely accommodating for all of our needs. Both kids had wonderful experiences there. The tutoring and the camp couldnt have worked out any better! Thank you Heather & Tom! Well be back!

I have 2 teenagers who have done tutoring and SAT class at Absolute Value and we've had a wonderful experience. Not only did their grades improve, the girls enjoyed going to the sessions because the teachers are so good. They make it easy and fun for the kids and it was so worth the time and money spent.

Absolute value tutorial is a really wonderful teaching resource. Small. Custom. Lots of attention to detail and personalization. The electronic music classes have been great for my kids. The chess classes have been great also. Were really happy to have this resource available to us. Highly recommended!

I am the mother to a 7 year old twice exceptional (Level 2 ASD with a 140 IQ) little boy that has had continuous troubles in learning environments. We begun at Absolute Value for Chess class for my oldest and were approached to see if he was interested in taking a coding class. He said no, but my 7 year old...for literally the first time ever....said he would want to go. He didn't meet the age requirement as is the case with almost everything that he is interested in. I asked Heather if she would be willing to give him a chance just to see how it would go, she agreed...literally the first person in his life that has disregarded his age to allow him to explore what his mind is made for. My son didn't even have his own device, short of his school issued ipad, so I had to give him my work phone and he never coded a day in his life but had read the Scratch books I gave him. He ran into that classroom with so much excitement. I sat outside ready to throw up because usually I am met with a child that has outbursts or gives up at the first sign of frustration but that is only if I can get him to enter into the activity...which rarely happens. To my utter shock, when it was over, Heather reported that not only he can come back but was able to answer questions before the older peers. A coding class to most parents is just another extracurricular activity for their kids. This was a turning point for our child and I am so excited for him to meet with educators who are willing offer superb enrichment and take a chance when many have turned us down.
