Absolutely wonderful doctor! 10 stars if possible. Very good with children. He speaks directly and gently to the child if the patient is older and keeps the parents very informed in lay terms on what is going on. Gets back to families promptly should there be a concern.

I have visited Dr.Chi office several times each time his story changes he literally told me last time to take my kid to Nero for her headaches that her ear pain is not from her hole in her ear drum. Her hearing loss he said was first from the whole and now this appointment apparently its not from that . I should still keep her appointment for a hearing device because that will help and that we should wait to see if the hole closes buy it might take a long time. When I questioned what I have researched about closing it he says time will tell. So rather then help he said I am free to get another opinion because he is not sure were the ear pain is from and most likely not the hole . So in other words rather then say he is not capable of closing the hole and just going through test results over the phone he has me come into the office so he can still get paid . He was no help and has no answers look for a more educated doctor somewhere else that is able to help out your child. Its a know fact that A torn (perforated) eardrum will usually heal by itself within 6-8 weeks. It is a skin-like structure and, like skin that is cut, it will usually heal. Its going to be five months . Also he said let her ear get wet since we explained that she wants to swim but online says. It is best to avoid water getting into the ear whilst it is healing so that it does not get infected. In my opinion doctors should continue their education rather then still believe what they were taught many, many, many years ago.
