The Giving Tree Infants+ Toddlers

The Giving Tree DOES NOT require staff to be vaccinated for Covid (that's what they told us).  I'm not taking my kid there.  No way.

I'm a yelper for sure and for good, my brother takes his daughter here and always brags about his daycare and what they do. So why not yelp it . it's my brother !! He says that the only downside is the pricing , but you get for what you pay for . Like anyplace

I put my daughter into the Giving Tree when she was about six months old because we were not happy with the in-home babysitter arrangement we had. I had been really resistant to consider day care when I went back to work and immediately after starting at the Giving Tree, I wished I had gone there first. They were so great about accommodating us including making me comfortable in the young infant room to nurse before I left in the mornings. This allowed me to observe how Kim the lead teacher handled the infants. She was amazing. I learned a lot by watching how she handled them. She would have all the infants circled around her while she sang and they all watched attentively. My daughter was in the older infant room the rest of the day where they were great particularly about trying to help her get comfortable with food, other adults, other children. They were so patient and kind. I never had to worry about her. I was really happy with the Giving Tree and would have stayed there were I not commuting an extra hour each way so that she could be there. We are now somewhere much closer to home but I credit the Giving Tree with making that transition much easier.
