Budget Car Rental

People on the phone are rude for no reason, rushing to go home. SMH

Pickup process was fast and easy, car was almost new - 2000 mil. Dropoff went quick as well. The only concern is the location - not obvious place at all

I booked a car with a car seat online. When I arrived at the location, the agent informed me that they never have car seats at that location. Budget: Its illegal to drive a car with a baby without a car seat, so if your customer books a car with a car seat, its a non-negotiable part of the reservation. The agent called someone and then told me that the location on 30th St would have a car seat for me. I drove over to the location and waited in line for 45 minutes, only to be told that they never have car seats as well. I ultimately ended up having to buy a new car seat at Target. Instead of spending my vacation visiting my family on the east coast and enjoying Philly, I was running around town trying to resolve Budgets inadequacies. Not a great use of vacation time. The icing on the cake was how unapologetic and unempathetic Diana from customer service was. Im not one to leave online rants, but Budget is doing a great job telling the customer they dont care.

I rent from this location regularly and I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because 3 out of 4 times there is some issue that no one ever seems to care about. I regularly get cars that smell like cigarettes, I've been in the office when it's smelled strongly of cigarettes, I've arrived to pick up a car that was reserved a month in advance and told there were no cars available, on two occasions the staff person showed up ten minutes late to open the office with no apologies or explanations, and most recently I got a car that almost none of the electronics worked on (you'd think they'd know that if they checked vehicles before giving them to customers), and then was ultimately told I could not be given any kind of discount or refund because I pre-paid. I use this location due to its location but at this point the inconvenience of everything about them outweighs the inconvenience of having to travel a bit further to rent a car. My guess is if I call customer service, I'll go on a roundabout journey with an automated system for about 20 minutes before eventually being sent to a call center God knows where, where the representative will have no ability to care about or understand my issues. So that all being said, the best I can do is leave this review and just never give them my money again.
