The old management, Rob Remus etc, were horrid!! In too many ways to list! The new management has been here since October 2020 and so far they are much better!!!!!. I AM concerned about the fact that new management took over in the middle of my (2nd 12 month) lease and there has been NO indication if they are going to Jack up the rent a lot - except they have been doing a great deal of solely cosmetic work (painting, lighting, etc) - so that scares my bank account! Also I THINK that new management has some different rules in their leases than old management - like # of pet, etc etc..… so what does that mean for us “hold over” tenants ?? (Meaning) New management is So-so about communication - but def better than old management! But I DO NOT PLAN ON MOVING ANY TIME SOON!! I love my apartment & the neighborhood!

This place has alot of potential. I like the layouts, the bay windows, lots of natural light and good appliances as well. The rent is reasonable and the neighborhood is gorgeous and the building is close to public transportation. But I have to rate it poorly because management is so bad. This place is INFESTED with mice. I give a certain amount of flexibility with this because any complex will have mice, but THIS place. They are EVERYWHERE, probably because there are alot of little holes throughout the apartment.. They have an exterminator that comes once a month but he didn't show up when I put the order in. I am actively watching a mouse crawl into my stove as I write this. Next, the elevator ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT WORK. They will advertise an elevator for certain but I've been here a year and it has only worked about twice for maybe two weeks at a time. I put in a maintenance request, they just cancel it and do nothing. So God help you if you live on the fourth floor and have to do laundry or bring in groceries, or if you have a mobility issue like I do that makes climbing all those stairs very difficult. make sure you bring an ADA accomodation to force them to do anything. Speaking of laundry rooms, they have one. It's coin operated but there is NO COIN MACHINE. Forcing you to go on journeys every two weeks to find quarters, so that's an outstanding waste of time and money. All these issues were present far before COVID, so I don't want to hear that as an excuse. Sigh, this place has alot of potential but Management has got to get on the ball because I fully intend to move next year because of these issues and I pay my rent EVERY month. I'm not paying for broken elevators and endless mice.

Property management is the worst. Rob Remus is impossible to get in contact with, and extremely rude once your are able to get ahold of him. He’s only on site Tuesday’s and Thursday (so he claims) and even on these days he’s hard to reach. I had inconsistent heat in the winter forcing me to use space heaters. When I was finally able to get In contact with Rob regarding the heat, he insisted it was my fault my unit was cold because I hadn’t removed my AC, regardless of the fact that there were multiple complaints about the heat. I find it hard to believe that an Ac in one room would keep the entire apartment extremely chilled. After my Ac was removed, weeks had past and the heat was still very much inconsistent. Maintenance snuck me a space heater because he felt so bad for me. Next, i put in a request to get a progressing crack in my ceiling checked in October, I moved in March and no one had even come to check on it before I left. There’s also an external exterminator who comes like ones a month who has full access to apartments regardless if u put in a request or not! He just enters your apartment with keys he’s supplied with! Once I informed Rob of my move he immediately started showing my unit to prospective tenants even after I requested that he didn’t while I wasn’t home because all of my belongings were still in the unit! His assistant insisted that he had all right to because he owned the property. Maintenance is very sketchy as well.. I have spoken to others tenants who agree that the place has been going down hill since Rob has taken charge. I wouldn't wish this place on an enemy. If I could I’d rate this place no stars.
