LifeMed Ambulance

I agree with many of the other reviewers that the services from med life is unreliable and can put your life in danger by not showing up for scheduled appointments.

Please dont trust these drivers. They are crazy! I was just cut off by a lifemed ambulance without their lights on and they were going at least 95 or 100 miles an hour as I was going almost 90 on 295 Deptford area on 10/16/21 at 1:07pm. They were tailgating me and then they passed me and then cut me off where I had to slam on my brakes. I could not get the license plate because they were driving way too fast for me to even see it. How ironic and how rude, an ambulance company cutting me off, a home health nurse trying to get to her next patients house! Lol I tried to call the phone number and it went to a mailbox that was full. So obviously their customer service isnt up to par either.

Star is twice as expensive as comparable services. When I ordered an ambulance to take me to a medical appointment, I made it clear that my knees could not be bent, so I needed a stretcher to get me down the stairs. The ambulance showed up 15 minutes late, and without the stretcher. I never got into the ambulance, and I missed the appointment. They charged me the full $1400 fee, and I am still disputing it 2 months later.

They arrived slightly late to get me to a medical appointment, but then they didn't have the rigid portable stretcher needed to get me out of my house, and I missed the appointment. They refused to refund the charge. Their charge of $1400 was more than twice as much as another ambulance service charged for the same service.

Phenomenal service! The drivers/EMTs are attentive, courteous, conscientious, professional and on time! Great customer service.
