If you are looking for an accountant to handle tax issues please DO NOT use Tamara at Creative Business Accounting. I had a consultation with Tamara on Feb 21st to discuss whether or not she would be able to help me and my husband with tax issues we had due to non filing and other issues. She assured me she would be able to help and even get down the amount that we owe to IRS! We scheduled a tax assessment on Feb 26th at 10am. When we arrived for our scheduled meeting with Tamara we were told by her co-worker she was sick and not able to make it, so we left our W2's etc. with him along with a brief explanation of what it was we needed. 2 WEEKS later (3/12/21) we still have not heard anything from Tamara (not even a simple apology email for not showing up to our scheduled meeting). I send her a quick email just asking if she had any questions or needed anything from us. She writes back right away and says she actually has some follow-up questions - why she waited 2 weeks and for me to reach out to her, I don't know. Her follow up questions were that she had no idea what she was supposed to be doing for me - despite having a phone consultation and a brief consultation with her co-worker. After yet another explanation of what I was looking for she said she would reach out to the IRS first thing the following week and get back to me. 3/24/21 I still had not heard anything from Tamara so I sent an email just touching base, no response. I try to give her the benefit of the doubt and wait until 3/31 to reach out again both through email and through the inquiry section of her website. NO RESPONSE!!!! I just went in today to pick up my paperwork (yes she had my stuff for over a month and did absolutely nothing) and she literally didn't even try to apologize or explain her lack of professionalism and communication. I would HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere!

A relative of mine works with Tamara and she had nothing but positive words. I needed to get my taxes done and it’s been over 3years since last time filing. I was in transitioning jobs in PA and DC. Tamara was extremely welcoming and very helpful. She was fast and efficient. Very professional and detailed. Walked me through each year and answered all my questions and concerns. She provided tons of resources especially since I now live and work in the DC area. I will continue doing business with Tamara! I've been going to see Tamara at Creative Business Accounting for the past few years now. My returns cover the Feds, NY State, and Pennsylvania. Tamara is super efficient , highly knowledgeable and gives exceptional service with great attention to detail. I would highly recommended Creative Business Accounting & Tax Service to anyone. A rare find these days in a business that offers strong professionalism but with a personal touch.
