DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Lancaster

This hotel was great. Two things particularly make is memorable. If you have kids, they have an awesome indoor pool and water play area. Look it up. Splashy things, shallow, water jets shooting, a mini-slide. Great for babies/toddlers all the way up to at least 10, maybe older. My kids loved it. We started one night for my daughters birthday, and it was great. We then did other stuff in the area the next day. The other cool thing about the hotel is the interior dining area/event space. The rooms are arranged in a circle around an event space in the middle. It just makes the hotel a little bit more interesting and attractive. My kids felt like they were in a really fancy hotel! Walkability: A few restaurants anda Starbucks you can walk to. Noteworthy details: Look up the pool and kids water play area. Its way better than any other hotel pool Ive been to.

Rooms: The cleanest room I have ever seen in a hotel. Noteworthy details: Booked a conference room for a meeting for 16. Brian was so kind and helpful. He is authentically one of the kindest people I've ever met! The entire staff was kind from when we checked in to the lobby bar and when we checked out.

The hotel was okish, but rooms are worn down and not well maintained. The noise level of aircon and fridge are close to a jet engine. Most difficult was the cleanliness of the pool area. This was just close to disgusting. Reception staff just seemed to have it accepted and not willing to change anything. Management did bot respond at all. Will not come back.

Wonderful place to stay. They have very nice staff and a great breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. Nearby activities: The Site and Sound Theater.

Clothes still in closet from prior guest. Bathroom in poor repair. Room was also in poor condition. Poorly patched wall, stains on couch, and heavy scratches on surfaces. Restaurant and room service was not available due to remodeling. The kids enjoyed the pool. I was not very pleased with how clean it was. Also the nice big hot tub in the pictures has been filled in and tiled over. Arcade was typical hotel arcade disappointing and not fully operable. The breakfast option available was food but for the money going somewhere else was a better option. If you stay here and get a room with windows to the center remember to make sure your blinds are closed. Just a few feet into the lobby is a gallery of windows into guest rooms. At 175.00 a night a little disappointed.
