A lovely place in a picturesque town! The homemade ice cream was absolutely delicious. I had the peanut butter explosion flavor and wow, it was stuffed with chunks of chocolate! The perfect treat after a long hike at Glen Onoko Falls trail. Unfortunately, the owners' business is closing at the end of July due to lease issues. If you happen to be close to Jim Thorpe, PA, check out Alice's before they close permanently!!

I really loved the ambience of the place. Feels like you could sit for the entire day having some nice coffee.

I was going upstairs and was planning on stopping in on the way out. However, since it's the first store/door in the building entrance. I had trash from ice cream that I was eating. I put it in the trash and the lady was very rude. She just ruined the whole day by being very nasty and rude and complained because i PUT TRASH INTO A TRASH BIN! I then decided on my way out to not stop in. I will not come back nor will I recommend this place. Too bad, I had wanted to go in too

No Bathroom at the place. Limited options for eating. The attendant was cleaning the floor under the clients legs which was awkward.
When I looked at the reviews in google maps I got involved by the rate, but eventually It was a let down.
The reviews should me more realistic.

Everytime I'm in Jim Thorpe i always stop at this delicious place. Great variety of yummy treats and beverages. Cozy, home-like atmosphere. Employees are always smiling. Heading there today can't wait.
