It saddens me to only give this Starbucks 3 stars. They tend to be understaffed and normally only have one on shift, but that's normally not the companies fault.
My main complaint is about a specific employee. I was there April 14, around 4-5 PM. Today is my birthday, and I was able to get my free drink. When I was describing what I wanted, I was looked at as if I was uneducated. She had a strong attitude and rolled her eyes as if I was causing a big deal.
I once worked in customer service, and understand how long and tiring shifts can be, but there is never an excuse to have an attitude or to degrade a customer.

I live locally to this Starbucks and pop in for coffee as opposed to only when driving by on the turnpike. The staff is really friendly and personable, which is nice considering this is a service area Starbucks rather than a full Starbucks. Overall the coffee and staff are great, so full stars review from me.
They still have food, snacks, full drink menu, and Pennsylvania merchandise, but you might notice the selections are a bit reduced compared to a full store.

If I could give zero stars I would. My last experience was just as bad. Neither employee did their job and I was THE FIRST customer in a very small line of 3 people.. not busy at all. The woman ringing in my order was barely listening to me and could barely ring my order in correctly (still messing it up after reiterating, but I let it slide bc it wasnt a big thing and I was already aggravated), then the young man who made my beverages didnt put soy in my chai (he put regular milk, which is a problem for someone that is lactose intolerant as you can imagine) and made me a black tea, when the order was for green tea. No offense; but it is not that difficult to key an order in as its said and then to read the ticket and make it as its shown. The basics arent even covered here. Last time I was there, the girl put espresso in my chai. All I asked for was a chai. I dont understand bc every other Starbucks Ive been to is immaculate. Avoid this one, if you can.
