Was not offered upgrade to start. Then when I turned on desk lamp, there was dust clumps on desk and floor from HVAC. Systems looks like it was last cleaned pre-covid. Stay at Marriott or Hampton.

Making the drive back from Florida, this is an ideal place to stop before getting north of the border. Good restaurants close, right off highway, great service, great location. Would come back.
Rooms: Clean and what youd expect.

This hotel is very unprofessional. During my stay, someone started beating on my door at 3:30am and yelling that I need to come out of my room and they need my vape. They never said who they were. They continued to bang on the door and yell at me.
I called the front desk and they radioed the person beating on my door and told them I was okay.
I finally opened and the guy claimed he was security and continued to yell at me that my alarm was going off. My alarm was not going off and he continued to say the hall smelled of smoke and wanted my vape. I do not vape or smoke. He eventually left, but was very unprofessional and the manager of the hotel has yet to call me.
This hotel is not safe. I would not recommend staying here- please stay far away!!!

This review is intended to be constructive
The check in and out person was the same. She was indifferent not terrible but not customer friendly. The hotel and room appearance were fine some wear but maintained. The room heater was loud and blew cold air over the bed. The shower handle was loose and did not always operate as intended. It was a holiday weekend so we managed around these issues. Reporting these upon checkout she simply stated Ill let housekeeping know. So indifferent seems accurate. Might stay again but I would expect a better experience. Thanks
Rooms: As stated some issues. Did not have room refresh but it was a holiday weekend so did not expect and did not ask.
Food & drinks: Had to ask for room coffee, 1 package provided for three night stay. The night desk person was very pleasant and helpful with this.
Noteworthy details: Have stayed in three Marriott properties in two months in different cities. The theme is we pay more and get less.
