I highly recommend Prepare Test Preparation and Tutoring! Mr. Schmidt taught our kids great test-taking tips and strategies that allowed them to increase their scores! I appreciated the test practice that was offered the night before all SAT and ACT testing dates. The refresher class was crucial in their test success.

I found Mr Schmidt's SAT prep course extremely beneficial. The methods taught to us made me comfortable with the test, and confident going into the test. The class is engaging, and the consistent practice ensures that the strategies taught to us become second-nature by the end of the course. The course has a strong emphasis on the reading and writing sections of the SAT, which I struggled with before the class. The math fundamentals that show up on the test are also very well integrated into the course. The methods work well, as my score on the SAT increased by around 200 points by my first real test. Overall, this class is a great investment, as I don't think I would have improved as much on my own.

It is very apparent that Pete deeply cares about the outcomes of his students, and we are grateful for his commitment to help our son increase his SAT score almost 200 points from the PSAT. We feel that Pete's class is essential for any student looking to improve upon his or her SAT test scores, which are critical to ensuring that a child maximizes the options available to them when selecting colleges. I enjoyed everything about the class whether it was the pizza or the never ending your mom jokes. I was referred to this class by many of my friends, and I got the chance to meet new people. Other than that, prior to the course, my weaknesses were evident in Reading. Mr. Schmidt helped me create a game plan on how to effectively attack such Reading questions, and my score increased greatly with his tips and techniques. I found the Math and Grammar section to be more to be of a practicing makes perfect opportunity. I was nearing perfect scores in each of the grammar and math sections after consistent quizzes, homework, and overall practice. What I found the most helpful were the 3 practice tests and the detailed feedback + score reports. You only learn from your mistakes! The homework wasnt all that pain in a butt for anyone that is scared - max 1-1.5 hours per class, just like your normal subjects in school. Studying for vocabulary is slightly time intensive, but nothing comes easy. This course helped me solidify my foundation, which aids me to score a 1500+. I will be recommending my friends for this course, as I think it is very well rounded. I will always miss him, but he will forever be remembered for being a significant stepping stone in the college preparation era. I stand by the 5-star rating.
