This is the Pho broth I've been looking for. I have a dedicated column in my budget spreadsheet labeled "mental health/self care" and it has $30/month and it's entirely for eating Pho at My Canh. I don't have health insurance and my student debt has destroyed any potential I had for owning property or feeling financially stable, but the upside is I won't feel like I have anything to lose when either Fireball Earth or a hot civil war shreds the social contract, aside from this blessed Pho. The staff are kind and quick, and down to chat or leave you to collapse into a bowl of their amazing soup in silence.
There's a lot of like, authenticity policing hipsters who have their little story and bias about the best Pho spot. I don't have a dog in the "best Pho spot" race, until I find a spot that serves dog pho, which I'd probably try to invest in. But when I'm eating Pho, I go here. My Canh can be Your Canh, too. xoxo
