Blue Door Veterinary Services

Highly recommend! I have an elderly dog who gets upset when riding in the car and going to the groomer or vet, I have a mobile groomer and she is much happier with them so I thought to also have a mobile vet. Blue Door has provided excellent care and their communication is amazing. I text them randomly with questions and concerns and receive a text back quickly during business hours, it helps put me at ease knowing my pets are a priority to them. They treat my dog kindly and understand how to interact with owners that may be overly passionate about their animal's well being. They really listen to you and have never pushed unnecessary products or procedures. They have a wonderful team!Not to mention a mobile vet is much more practical considering shorter wait time, your dog will be more comfortable close to home and flexible scheduling. My main priority is providing the best care possible to my pets, it's just a bonus that the best care is also convenient for me. Thank you BDV for helping ease my anxiety when it comes to my elderly princess and always treating us with understanding and kindness.

I had two of my dogs cared for by Blue Door. Shortly afterwards, we moved and I contacted Blue Door to obtain copies of my dogs' records. For months now, Blue Door has refused to provide the records stating that "the main account holder" needed to authorize the release of records. Uh....I am the sole owner of these dogs, have no spouse/partner, etc. They have been in my care and possession since they were puppies! I made all the appointments for my dogs, I paid all of Blue Doors' bills- it is absurd for Blue Door to continue to insist there is some other "main account holder." My dogs' care has been compromised because Blue Door simply will not give me the records for my own dogs

Maybe update your website to include The fact that you're not taking new patients. I wouldn't have wasted my time and energy on a somewhat long "application" to be a client if I knew I'd get a form rejection. I was looking for a possible new patient visit a couple of months from now. Not sure I'll "check back in a few weeks," as you request. If I do it'll be a simple: Are you taking any new patients? The entire veterinary care situation in Portland is a complete shitshow. Not kind of you to disrespect our time, energy, and hopefulness looking for a new vet in this mess. Just put it right out there that you have nothing to offer new clients at the moment.

Unfortunately I'm subject to neighbors using their services. With ample street parking...literally no other cars parked within 100ft either direction...they decide its best to block my driveway. Rude.

So grateful to Dr. Wilkinson and Jamie for their patience and kindness with my anxious dog! He has severe anxiety with vet visits to the physical location and has medications to help, but having them come to us was much less stressful for himno car ride, no waiting room full of barking dogs, dozens of strangers going in and out, etc. During the visit, Dr. Wilkinson & Jamie were both communicative and happy to answer my questions, offer suggestions, and go over everything they were doing. I really appreciate their patience, communication, and kindness. Wendi, who I spoke to on the phone and via email to set everything up, is also very helpful and responsive, and she made it very easy to book the initial appointment and get all the information I needed. Highly recommended.
