Baby to Baby

These folks need to update their hours, showed up to a sign saying they are open Wed thru Sat only 10-5. Drove across town for no reason. Also, the sign does not say baby to baby, just family consignment on the front, Trindee Resale on the back.

I have purchased a few things from this place but I would not recommend consigning your items with them. My first time consigning and they lost my items. I called to check to see if anything has been sold since it had been a month and they had no record other than the date that I brought stuff in. Very disorganized and I would never come here again I’m extremely upset that they have no idea where my items are or even if they have been sold or not.

I was told that this place is the only place around Portland that pays cash for used baby items instead of consignment. I called them to confirm this, which they did, so I traveled an hour from my house to bring them 5 boxes of clothes, books, toys, and more. They only wanted a brand new Batmobile that cost $40, and they offered me $1. They did want 1 of my larger items that I called and asked about, a brand new high chair. But guess what, they only consign more expensive items. They told me differently on the phone, and if I'd known that I wouldn't have driven so far. They couldn't tell me how much they would price it at, but that I would get 50% and they get 50% of the sale price. They did have some cute stuff in their store, but it was extremely overpriced for being used items. I'm not really the rich and posh downtown mother type that they cater to, so I was just disappointed. But if you're looking for something specific or don't mind paying close to retail, then it is a nice store and at least worth a visit. No parking though. UPDATE: I forgot to add that I did end up consigninh my brand new high chair with them and I got a call about a month later to come get my cash for it's sale. I got $35 cash for it so they must have sold it for $70. I paid $149.99 for it at Target and opened it up so I didnt have the box to return it to the store. At the time I felt like $35 was not enough, but I have since tried to sell many baby and child items on OfferUp with very little luck. Maybe most people only want new items?

Super friendly staff with a wide variety of well priced gently used baby clothes. Would highly recommend to any parents looking to keep there children stylish.

The staff is great and very helpful. They've done a great job selling my product and selling me product. And i love that if stuff doesn't sell you have the option to donate.
